Please join us for the opening reception of the We Are Neighbours Photography Exhibit
Thursday March 13th, 6-8pm
City Hall Atrium, 141 West 14th street, North Vancouver, BC
We walk past people every day, we make assumptions. But we all have stories, We Are Neighbours.
This photography project aims to capture North Shore Residents who wave struggled with homelessness in locations they cherish across the North Shore; their true selves illuminating the frames. All participants have had the opportunity to have their hair and make-up done by the generous contributions of Zazou Salon and Spa, and had their portraits taken by renowned North Shore photographer Fran Chelico.
The opening of this exhibit aligns with the close of the Homelessness Count and hopes put a face to the numbers collected, because we all come from the same community and share experiences. When one person falls, we all fall, and when one is uplifted we all rise.
The exhibit will be on display and open to the public from March 13th – March 28th, 8:30-5pm, City Hall Atrium.
