North Shore Extreme Weather Plan – Extra Shelter Spaces Now Open

The North Shore Extreme Weather Plan provides for additional sheltering space to be made available when the weather is severe enough to pose a higher health risk to the homeless. The alert is called on a daily basis.

The purpose of this notice is to inform that an Extreme Weather Alert has been called. Additional sheltering spaces are being provided at two local services:

Open at 8 pm

OTHER SHELTERING IS ALSO AVAILABLE
CONTACT THE NORTH SHORE SHELTER FOR REFERRAL

IF YOU ARE SLEEPING OUTSIDE, PLEASE COME TO THE SAFETY OF THE SHELTER!

If you are a service agency:

1. Please print the attached poster on bright YELLOW paper and post it in areas which homeless individuals may see it;
2. notify all your staff that the Alert has been called and ask them to spread the news to the homeless they come into contact with; and to refer people to the:
